PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA CONSTITUTION:
TO BE VOTED ON NOVEMBER 4
There are six proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution. Previously, there were nine proposed amendments,
but
the Florida Supreme Court removed three from the ballot.

Florida Division of Elections - Amendment Information
ALACHUA COUNTY REFERENDUMS - TO BE VOTED ON NOVEMBER 4
There are three local referendums which will appear on Alachua County ballots on November 4.
- Wild Spaces & Public Places: Half-cent sales tax for two years
to fund Alachua County Forever land conservation program and recreational facilities in Alachua County.
- Registry of Protected Public Places: Proposed amendment to the Alachua County Charter to create a registry
of protected public places.
- Alachua County School Funding Initiative:
One mil property tax increase for four years to supplement school funding.
